Views are often subdued by thick mist rolling across the peaks, but even when it's cloudy, local hill-tribe people fill the town with colors. Travellers experience an authentic, timeless way of life among the hill tribes of the Hoang Lien Son Mountains on this package tour to Sapa, traveling on the overnight sleeper train from Hanoi. Take trekking, and get eye-catching views of the terraced rice fields. TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1

Hanoi - Night Train To Sapa-

8:00pm: Our driver picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter then leave for Hanoi Railway Station for night train to Lao Cai.

Night 1: Overnight on train to Sapa

Day 2

Sapa – Village Trekking Tour (B,L,D) -

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station about 6:00am. Our driver will hold your name welcome board at the exit gate of Lao Cai Railway Station. He will pick you up and transfer you along the beautiful road to Sapa town. You will have breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast, we leave the hotel and start trekking. Start trekking to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages down in Muong Hoa valley. Enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley towards Fanxipan – the highest peak of Vietnam and Indochina. Trek through the villages of Black H’mong ethnic minority to learn the way people weaving and embroidering their clothes. Have a break for lunch then keep going down to enjoy colorful rice paddy fields and reach Ta Van village where the Dzay ethnic people inhabited.

Leaving Ta Van, we head up to the main road where the car will pick up us to tranfer back to Sapa. Go back to Sapa in the afternoon.

Note: Lao Chai – Ta Van trekking is around 12km. If you don’t want to long trekking, we will organize private car and tour guide for you. Please contact us for this service.

Evening: Have dinner at your hotel then you will have time to go around discovering Sapa town.

Night 2: Overnight at the hotel in Sapa

Day 3

Village Trekking – Lao Cai Railway Station (B,L,D) -

Have breakfast at hotel.

Option 1: Cat Cat village trekking tour

Trekking from hotel to Cat Cat village of H’ mong, you have a chance to visit a waterfall and the hydroelectric power station built by the French, learning about the culture, customs and unique people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, carved silver, hand forged agricultural tools.

Note: Cat Cat trekking is around 6km.

Option 2: Fansipan Peak – The Roof of Indochina

You will get to the Mountain Railway and start the 2-km line departs from MGallery Hotel in Sapa and arrives at the Mount Fansipan cable car station and is the longest mountain-climbing railway line in the country.

Reach the altitude of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan - the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1,5 hours for hiking and taking photos).

11.00: Come back to Cable Car Station and return to the hotel.

Option 3: O Quy Ho pass - Silver waterfall and Golden stream and love waterfall

After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will take you to Silver waterfall and Golden stream and love waterfall. We will go through O Quy Ho pass on the way. We visit Silver waterfall first. The moderate climate and majestic natural scenery have turned Silver Waterfall Sapa into one of the most attractive tourist attractions alluring tourists. Then we leave for Golden stream and love waterfall. This is a lovely little walk on a stone path through some woodlands and along a stream to a bridge and viewpoint for the Love Waterfall.

Enjoy lunch at the restaurant.

Afternoon, you will have free time to visit Sapa town, market, church. Have dinner at restaurant or a take-away dinner on the way to the Lao Cai train station, then catch the night train to Hanoi.
