Sapa is home of numerous ethnic people. where you can find the beauty of nature in valleys, mountains, streams, waterfalls and the people. Bac Ha is one of the biggest Market on Sapa and open on Sunday only. Belong to Bac Ha district, far from Lao Cai city about 60 kilometers. Bac Ha is the largest fair of Sapa. It’s not only the trading center but it’s also the place for couples, friends and relatives. Let go ahead to join tour with us to explore the beauty of ethnic people market.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1

Hanoi - Night Train To Sapa-

8:00pm: Our guide picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter then leave for Hanoi Railway Station for night train to Lao Cai. We will keep the train tickets for you and guide you how to get into train cabin and get out of the train from Lao Cai Railway Station.

Night 1: Overnight on train to Sapa

 
Day 2

SaPa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B,L,D) -

5.00 - 6.30 Pick up you at Lao cai Transfer to SaPa for breakfast and check in hotel ( if available)

9.00 – 9h30 Begin 12 km of trekking, visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai village of the H’Mong minority.

13.00 After lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank, we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay the our guide will lead you visit some house on stilts of ethnic.Here you have opportunity to experience their daily life, work and original custom, enjoy some green tea and taking with ethnic people.

14.30 We return to main road Ta Van Village. Where the van will pick you go back the hotel.

18.00 – 19.30 Enjoy your dinner in our hotel.

After dinner you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping.

Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the love market which is one of unique cultures of ethnic minorities (H’mong, Dazo. Int Lao Cai in pacticular and Northwest of Vietnam in general.

Night 2: Overnight at hotel in Sapa

 
Day 3

Sapa – Bac Ha Market – Train Station (B,L,D) -

8.00 – 9.00 After breakfast, you will take part in Bac Ha Market. This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell their traditional products then they eat, drink ,sing and dance together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy handmade handicrafts and clothes as souverirs.
Then continue to visit Ban Pho village, 2km away from centre of Bac Ha, the village is inhabited by Hmong people, this is where the famous Tam Hoa plum is in bloom. In Spring, visitors come to Bac Ha to buy plum and bring to Hanoi and other provinces. In the village, there is Hoang A Tuong palace, considered by Hmong people as their King in the French colonial time. Over many decades, the palace still retains its original architecture of the old time.
12.00 lunch provided at Bac H and back to Bac Ha at Late after noon.
15.00: You have to say goodbye with the friendly villagers. The trip will take nearly two hours back to Lao Cai train station. Stop on the way to see Gree Tea Farm Upon your return you will have a short stop to visit the friendship bridge and Vietnam/ china border.
17.00: Stop at Lao Cai train station for dinner and take the night back to HaNoi. Trip ends
 
Night 3: Overnight on the train to Hanoi
 
Day 4

Hanoi Arrival-

You will arrive in Hanoi railway station around 5:30am. Trip ends.
