Day 1

Get pickup from airport/train station to hotel. Then you will have time for discovering by yourselves the attractions of Hanoi City. Why not arrive early to see the sights? Check out your reflection in beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake, wander along shaded. Museum-wise, why not visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, drop into the serene Temple of Literature or get arty at the city's Fine Arts Museum.

7:45 – 8:15 The tour guide will come and pick you in the hotel lobby, then transferred you to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Keep moving to Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, which is located to one side of the Mausoleum, and having a look at the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 – the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi.

Say goodbye to Ho Chi Minh complex, the tour guide will lead you to visit the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West Lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam). Then visit Bat Trang ceramic village (applied on Mon, Wed & Fri).

12:00 Lunch at local restaurant

13:30 After lunch, you will keep continuing the tour with visiting the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat) or the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam – as known as the Vietnam’s first university. The tour will be enclosed by visiting the beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake with Ngoc Son temple and strolling in the small alley streets of the Old Quarter where you can have a chance for shopping and for being a traffic challenge when you cross the road.

15h30 – 16h00 Ends one day Hanoi city tour.

Day 3

Hanoi - Halong Bay - Halong Cruise (B,L,D)Show less -

7.45-8.30: Pick-up at the hotel then travel to the spectacular World Heritage site of Halong Bay in the Gulf of Tonkin (approximately four hours) with a short break on the way. The bay is dotted with sandy coves, grottoes and 1,600 limestone islands, which have been formed over millennia by wind and water erosion.

12.00 – 12.30: Embark on Lavender Cruise followed by a short cruise briefing and enjoy welcome-drink. Check in the cabin.

13.15: Enjoy lunch with sampling regional fresh seafood while cruising on exquisite water, passing Incense Burner island, Fighting Cock islet, Stone Dog… Lavender Cruise will bring you to explore Ha Long Bay on the most wonderful route where just a few cruises go through.

15.00-16.30 Do kayaking through the magnificent landscape with Limestone Mountains, visit Titov Island and swimming or just relaxing on the sun-deck for fantastic views at The Bay. After kayaking, you will be back to Lavender Cruises and join sunset party.

The cruise passes by Soi Sim Beach, “Rang Dua” Island to sleeping area near The Surprising cave.

Joining our Cooking Class in the restaurant. Let’s see how to make the fresh/fried spring rolls and mix fish-sauce.

19:30: Under the magnificent night sky, our set-menu dinner is served with a variety of Vietnamese and Asian foods.

Evening activities:

Join squid fishing on boat with our crews, playing card, karaoke or laze yourself with our happy-hour drinks at the bar. To end the day, spend a peaceful night aboard the boat beneath the night sky.

Day 4

Halong - Hanoi - Night Tran To Sapa (B,L)Show less -

06:15: Morning exercises on the Sun-deck.

07:15: Have breakfast with Coffee, tea and Bakeries on board.

08:00: Visit the Surprising Cave (Hang Sung Sot) discovered by the French in 1901. Opened for tourists since 1936, now it is a must-to-see and a symbol for geology value of Halong.

09:30: Check out time. Then relax on the sun-deck or inside the restaurant to enjoy the bay’s scenery.

10h15: Enjoying a traditional Vietnamese lunch while cruising back to the pier.

12:00: Check out cruise. Our car will be at your disposal to pick you up then drive back to Hanoi.

16:30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the trip!

Arrive Hanoi around 16:30 – 17:30, you have free time to have dinner before our guide pick you to the train station: Our guide picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Lao Cai. We will inform you how to do the check in procedure and keep the rest of the ticket when you check out from Lao Cai Railway Station and will let you know how to be picked up at Lao Cai Station to Sapa

Day 5

Sapa Arrival - Lao Chai - Ta Van Village Trekking (B,L,D)Show less -

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at about 6:00am. Our driver will pick you up and transfer you along the beautiful road to Sapa. After breakfast, we leave the hotel and start trekking down the valley to the Muong Hoa stream and from here to the Black H'mong village - Lao Chai village (Black H'mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa). After that, you will continue your trekking along MuongHoa stream, paddy field to Ta Van village, visit and understand about "Zay" ethnic people. You will see houses of The Zay people which are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. You will have picnic lunch at the village when enjoying beautiful sightseeing of paddy fields around. Leaving the villages, you are picked up by car to get back to Sapa for checking-in on afternoon. The rest of the day will be at your leisure to discover the town.

Have dinner at hotel.

Note: The trekking to Lao Chai – Tavan is around 12km if you don’t want to do long trek, we will organize private car and tour guide for you. You will pay us 25USD/pax more for this service.

Day 6

Cat Cat Village Trekking - Night Train Back To Hanoi (B,L,D)Show less -

After breakfast, you will trek about 6km to come to visit village of the Black H'mong. Visit the waterfall and hydroelectric power station established by the French people in the past, view nice landscapes of green forests and beautiful scenery along the way. Walk back to Sapa town. Have lunch at the hotel.

Afternoon, you will have free time to visit Sapa town, market, church or free visit flower garden in Ham Rong mountain till we pick you up to Lao Cai train station.
